Combating the Workplace Effects of Intimate Partner Violence
Successful leadership within a company knows that workplace safety and business vitality go hand in hand. Addressing the needs of a domestic violence or stalking victim must also incorporate the needs of other employees and the company at-large. To that end, this program will focus on the following objectives:
- When a problem switches from being a “private matter” to one that concerns the company
- The possibilities for Corporate Responsibility Programs (Promotional and Institutionalized)
- When it is prudent to incorporate the criminal justice system
- Appropriate safeguards when protecting employees
- Referral services generally available within a community
- Sample policies and procedures that can be readily incorporated into their own business structure
