JEFF RICE
Program Manager
Jeff brings a diverse background in information technology, project management and corporate greenhouse gas reporting roles to the Applied Sustainability Center.  At the ASC, Jeff enjoys working collaboratively with diverse organizations on innovative ways to leverage technology to drive sustainability into the consumer goods economy.  Jeff holds a B.S. in Physics from Southwest Missouri State (Missouri State) and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys, reading and running.





CHRISTY SLAY
Graduate Assistant

Christy Slay brings 6 years experience in non-profits and a strong background in biology and ecology teaching and research to the Applied Sustainability Center.  Christy holds a B.A. in biology from Hendrix College and is a Ph.D. candidate in Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas.






MIKE FAUPEL
Program Manager

Mike brought 15+ years of project management experience in the value-added food and agriculture industry to the Applied Sustainability Center where he enjoys facilitating innovative approaches to make consumer goods more sustainable across the value chain.  Mike holds a B.S. and M.S. in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas.  In his spare time he can be found fishing, hiking and mountain biking in the Ozark Mountains.





ANDI ROMI
Graduate Assistant

Andi Romi brings a background in corporate accounting to her research in corporate environmental accounting disclosures at the Applied Sustainability Center.  Andi holds a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Missouri and is a Ph D. candidate in accounting at the University of Arkansas.






CASH EAST
Program Manager

Cash East brings a diverse science and business background to the Applied Sustainability Center to help companies understand the implications of environmental research and apply that knowledge to business decisions.  Cash holds a B.A in Biology from Colorado College and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.
